Leif was terribly proud of his father and looked up to him as a role model. when Leif was was 15, Marcel died on the battlefield, leaving his son and wife devastated. it pushed Leif past determination and into desperation. he NEEDED to become a warrior, to live up to his father's name and protect the only family he had left.
